Dirk has more than 25 years of professional experience in oil and gas infrastructure, 20 years of which as operator of one of the largest European oil pipelines, Transalpine Pipeline, where he was responsible as technical director and for TAL Austria as managing director. He started his career with ILF at last as manager for international projects and gained his first experience as a pipeline operator with Nord West Ölleitung (NWO) before he joined TAL. Since beginning of 2020 he is working as an international consultant within the energy industry with focus on integrity, increase of efficiency as well as implementation of best in class practises. The int. oil and gas industry knows him as part of our ptc family for several years and as chairman of the ptc Advisory Committee.
